Baek Ji Young's Daughter Asks Why She Looked Like That in Old Photos

Singer Baek Ji Young shared a pleasant family anecdote, revealing her daughter's innocent reaction upon seeing her past photos.

On the 2nd, Baek Ji Young and Kwon Yuri, formerly of the group Cool, appeared as guests on Lee Ji-hye's YouTube channel 'Gwanjong Un-ni'. They shared various stories regarding their friendship of approximately 30 years, behind-the-scenes activity stories, and family life.

During the appearance, the cast reminisced about their early debut days and spoke of the camaraderie they built while enduring difficult times together. Kwon Yuri remarked, "Because we worked together for a long time and went through hard times together, we became a great source of strength for each other," noting that starting their entertainment careers at a young age naturally led to a tighter bond.

In the latter half of the video, Kwon Yuri's family, who currently live in the United States, appeared for a joyful reunion with the cast. Kwon Yuri married a businessman six years her junior in 2014 and has one son and two daughters.

When Kwon Yuri's son appeared, the cast marveled at his distinct features. When Lee Ji-hye asked who he resembled, the son replied, "Dad." In response, Baek Ji Young shared her own experience, saying, "I think children have trouble connecting their parents' current selves with their past looks."

Baek Ji Young elicited laughter from the cast when she revealed, "When my daughter Ha-im saw my old photos, she called me 'Mom' sadly and asked, 'Why did you look like that?'" She shared the situation playfully, noting it was a typical, unfiltered reaction from a young child.

Following this, Lee Ji-hye reminisced about Baek Ji Young's career, saying, "You were truly beautiful during your 'Candy in My Ear' era," making a joke that was only possible due to their close friendship, which brightened the atmosphere.
