BTS member V's praise for a local pizza spot during his concert has led to an unprecedented surge in customers and explosive media coverage.
When BTS's V mentioned a pizza restaurant in the United States, major local media outlets began highlighting the restaurant's explosive response.
American weekly magazine People reported on V's recent high praise during a performance at Stanford Stadium in California, where he said, “I think Stanford pizza is the best.”
People reported, “V said at his concert that Stanford pizza is the best. Fans discovered that the restaurant BTS visited is Vesta in Redwood City. The restaurant has experienced its highest sales increase ever.”
BTS held their 'Arirang' world tour at the US Stanford Stadium on the 16th, 17th, and 19th, drawing approximately 150,000 spectators.
During the ending comments of the first performance, V said, “The pizza was truly delicious. I think this place is the absolute best. If I come to Stanford again, I'll eat delicious pizza and give a great performance.”
Although V did not mention the restaurant by name, fans immediately identified the pizza restaurant Vesta in Redwood City. Since then, the restaurant has been overflowing with customers.

Co-owner Courtney Bron stated in an interview, “Thanks to the fans, we had our busiest Monday ever,” adding, “It is truly an honor and we are grateful that BTS liked our food.”
She also recalled the moment, saying, “After V mentioned the pizza during the performance, video messages poured in from friends. It was truly shocking and unbelievable.”
Meanwhile, V continues to receive positive responses by actively communicating with local fans through direct mentions of the culture and characteristics of the regions where his concerts are held.
