Claims have been raised that the recent accusations against IVE member Jang Wonyoung, suggesting she suffers from severe 'celebrity disease,' are actually a misunderstanding.
On the 30th of last month, Jang Wonyoung appeared at Gimpo International Airport with other members of IVE to travel to Shanghai, China, to fulfill her schedule.
Images of her back during the immigration process spread online, leading to opinions that she was being rude by crossing her arms in front of airport staff and receiving her passport with only one hand.
However, the controversy is settling as videos filmed from different angles, rather than just her back, have been released. When it was her turn, Jang Wonyoung politely handed her passport to the airport staff with both hands and responded kindly to requests to show her face.
It was confirmed that the controversial arm-crossing occurred only briefly during the short time the staff member was scanning the passport into the machine.
