Lee Seok-hoon reveals 36kg weight loss: 'I used to eat three meals a day'

On the 29th, SeeYa, Kim Jae-hwan, Lee Seok-hoon, and Jung Seung-hwan appeared on the KBS 2TV music talk show 'The Seasons - Sung Si-kyung's Ear Boyfriend.'

Lee Seok-hoon mentioned an anecdote where he was called a 'look-alike of Sung Si-kyung' since his debut, metaphorically stating, "Your senior's natural appearance served as a sort of excuse for the heart for ballad singers." Regarding Sung Si-kyung's recently sharper visuals, he jokingly teased, "He has become so handsome lately."

He confessed, "When I was at my most energetic, my weight was 100kg. I stayed at that weight until my freshman year of university."

He surprised everyone by revealing that he lost a whopping 36kg just two months before his debut. He explained his determination, saying, "I dropped down to 64kg. Originally, the CEO told me to only lose weight until I hit 75kg, but I wanted to show that I am someone who can go this far."

Regarding his diet management, he stated, "I ate three meals a day. One meal consisted of a handful of cherry tomatoes, two eggs, one small sweet potato, and one salad. By eating like that, I lost 15kg in a month."

However, he noted that there were aftereffects from such extreme weight loss, advising, "Because I ate like that, my kidney function worsened and wrinkles appeared on my face. Do not do it this way. You should eat plenty and do strength training."

He continued, "If you diet by not eating like that, your basal metabolic rate drops, turning your body into one that gains weight more easily. You must always eat three meals a day and do strength training," emphasizing that one should maintain a moderate approach.
