Son Dam Bi shuts down rumors of rehoming pet cat: 'Do you really think I would abandon him?'

Singer and actress Son Dam Bi has once again dispelled allegations that she rehomed her pet cat following the birth of her child. Interest from fans has surged as she recently shared affectionate moments with her cat, Egon.

In the video, Son Dam Bi stroked Egon, who was lying on a blanket, expressing her affection by saying, "There is no cat as well-behaved as this one." When an acquaintance filming the video remarked that Egon was "gentler than a puppy" due to his calm demeanor, Son Dam Bi showed her love for the cat, adding, "He is gentler than a puppy. He won't even show his claws."

She further expressed her hurt feelings, saying, "You have no idea how much I love cats," and explained, "I think people keep asking where the cat went because only the baby is appearing [in my content]." She meant that as her content became more focused on childcare after childbirth, the pet cat's presence was simply not featured as much.
