Husband suspects wife's affair after finding male perfume in bedroom
On Channel A's 'Detectives: The Trade Secret,' a husband's suspicion of his wife's infidelity leads to an unexpected discovery about her true activities.
Channel A's 'Detectives: The Trade Secret' follows the story of a husband who suspected his wife of having an affair. Convinced of her infidelity after smelling a perfume used by one of her male classmates in their master bedroom, the husband requested an investigation, only to uncover a side of his wife that differed from his expectations.

In the 'Case Notebook' segment of 'Detectives: The Trade Secret,' airing on the 28th at 10 PM, the show reveals the struggle of a husband whose wife changed significantly after reuniting with old classmates.
The client, a dental clinic director, married his wife after she proactively courted him when they first met as patient and doctor. Originally from Busan, the wife suffered from depression while raising their child alone in Seoul, where she had no local ties. To support her, the husband left his life in Seoul to move to Busan and open a clinic.
After returning to her hometown, the wife regained her vitality by reuniting with old friends. However, she began to become frequently unreachable during outings and attended 4-on-4 drinking sessions under the pretext of alumni meetings. As his suspicions grew, the husband smelled the same perfume used by one of his wife's male classmates on their bed after work. This led him to suspect an affair and hire a detective team.
However, the investigation revealed a different reality. The wife was caught picking up a friend's child from school and looking after them for several hours, with the friend requesting the same favor again in the future. On another occasion, she was seen grocery shopping for a friend and even running several laps around a park in the middle of the night, sweating as instructed by a friend.
The cast members questioned whether the wife was being subjected to one-sided demands. Yoo In Na expressed concern, stating, “This isn't a favor; it's harassment,” while Kim Poong suggested the wife might be being blackmailed. Defconn also expressed anger, noting that if it is indeed harassment, the husband's fury is justified.
Actor Song Jin Woo will join the broadcast as a guest detective. Known for his impressions of Lee Byung Hun, Lee Seo Jin, and Jang Hyuk, Song will add laughter by recreating Lee's drama scenes and his signature 'healthy teeth smile dance.'
Song's extraordinary collecting hobby will also be featured. Having collected approximately 4,000 cards of a specific sports star since his first year of middle school, he will reveal the current market value of a card that has seen a 4,900% return on investment. He is also expected to introduce various other collections ranging from hundreds to thousands of items.
The truth behind the suspicion of the wife's affair and Song Jin Woo's collecting stories will be revealed on Channel A's 'Detectives: The Trade Secret' on the 28th at 10 PM.
