On the 25th, during the TV CHOSUN entertainment program 'Loveholic of Joseon', comedian Han Yoon-seo (39)—who previously suffered the pain of having a formal meeting between families canceled due to her mother-in-law's refusal—clashed with her fiancé over wedding trousseau items.

Han Yoon-seo's Wedding Conflict: 'Is This Marriage Right?'

In front of the production team, Han Yoon-seo announced her decision to cohabitate before marriage, saying, "We finally decided to move in together. Since I have officially met my future mother-in-law, I was wondering if it would be time to start combining our households in earnest."

The two set out to look at home appliances, wearing matching couple looks, but the atmosphere was uneasy. Han Yoon-seo revealed their difficult economic situation, stating, "We aren't going to look at appliances because we have extra money right now. Actually, it's not that we are lacking; we have almost no money. We are living frugally now, but we are truly in a situation where we must tighten our belts."

She shared her specific plans, saying, "I wanted to prepare for marriage entirely on our own strength without parental help. Therefore, I am thinking of a tight budget of around 15 million won for all appliances and furniture."

However, once they arrived at the store, their opinions diverged. Han Yoon-seo wanted to replace the refrigerator for practical reasons, but her fiancé was obsessed only with a massive TV. While her thoughts were complicated because the living room sofa and the bed for the master bedroom were expensive, the fiancé was fixated on a large TV costing in the 8 million won range.

Unable to endure it any longer, Han Yoon-seo finally burst out in frustration, asking, "Why are you talking so immaturely?" However, the fiancé countered, saying, "Right now, you are the one being more immature," leading to an argument in the middle of the store.

Upon returning to their newlywed home, the two released emotions that had been bottled up. Han Yoon-seo expressed her pent-up anger, saying, "I am living frugally, not even buying a single piece of clothing for myself, yet you spent 190,000 won just on beard laser hair removal and spent hundreds of thousands of won on clothes."

She continued by revealing their grim reality, "If we move right now, we will have exactly 24,000 won left in our bank account. That is not even enough money to order a single chicken."

She confessed her complex feelings, saying, "Didn't I trust you and entrust my life to you? I decided to bet my future because I felt this marriage was right, but now that reality has hit, I have doubts and scary thoughts like, 'Is this marriage actually right?' Yet, the next day, I think, 'Sigh, there is no man as good as my man.' This repeats every day like hell."

The process of finding a newlywed home was also arduous. The two, who must find a jeonse (deposit-based lease) home with their current funds of 200 million won, failed to distinguish between hope and reality, saying, "I hope it's an apartment with 2 rooms and definitely 2 bathrooms."

The real estate agent finally pointed out the reality as if it were absurd, saying, "To get the house you want, you must have a lot of money."
