Heo Young-man Scolds SeeYa Members for Poor Dining Etiquette

On the 31st of last month, during the TV CHOSUN program 'Heo Young-man's Baekban Journey,' Heo Young-man pointed out the dining etiquette of SeeYa members Nam Gyu-ri, Lee Bo-ram, and Kim Yeon-ji.

The restaurant in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, that Heo Young-man, Nam Gyu-ri, Lee Bo-ram, and Kim Yeon-ji visited together, was a place that serves natural clams (baekhap) steamed in foil. The owner apologized, noting he didn't know Lee Bo-ram was originally from Seongnam.

Regarding the natural steamed clams being wrapped in silver foil, the owner explained, "The broth from the clams is as rich as white rice water. I prepare it this way so you can enjoy it together." As soon as the explanation ended, Lee Bo-ram tasted it and exclaimed, "Wow, this is no joke," while Nam Gyu-ri and Kim Yeon-ji also immediately ate the clams and drank the broth with admiration.

Heo Young-man, who was a beat late because he was busy taking photos before eating, burst out and scolded them, saying, "You have no manners. I haven't even eaten yet, and you're already finishing everything."

SeeYa quickly realized the situation and apologized, saying, "We're sorry. We thought you had already started eating."

After tasting the steamed clams, Heo Young-man expressed his admiration, saying, "Oh my. You don't just get drunk from alcohol; you can get drunk from this clam broth too," quickly forgetting his disappointment with the SeeYa members. When Nam Gyu-ri asked, "This doesn't have any seasonings in it, right?" Heo Young-man replied, "It's already seasoned," showing an expression of repeated admiration for the natural umami flavor.

The three members expressed envy toward Heo Young-man's 'Baekban Journey' food tour, mentioning they had only eaten kimbap for the past month. Heo Young-man jokingly added, "Make sure to say my name before you eat and go."
