Heo Young-man to End 'Huh Young Man's Food Travel' and Suspend Activities Following Fall Accident
Cartoonist Heo Young-man is suspending all activities and ending his TV CHOSUN show after suffering a fall accident and being hospitalized.
On the 17th, Heo Young-man Co., Ltd. announced that cartoonist Heo Young-man would be ending TV CHOSUN's 'Huh Young Man's Food Travel' and suspending all other activities due to health issues, revealing that the reason was a fall accident.

Heo Young-man's side initially announced the suspension of activities citing "health issues." However, according to an acquaintance, Heo Young-man was transferred to the intensive care unit due to the fall accident and has been hospitalized for a month. The acquaintance noted that while the condition is not extremely critical, it is a situation that causes concern.
While Heo Young-man's side only stated, "Recently, health issues have arisen for cartoonist Heo Young-man, and he is currently focusing on treatment and recovery following the medical team's recommendation. He plans to suspend all external activities for the time being to rest," a major accident was the underlying cause.
'Huh Young Man's Food Travel' began in 2019 and traveled across the country for 7 years, introducing numerous meals and people. A total of 365 guests, including actors, singers, sports stars, and broadcasters, appeared on the show. Heo Young-man encountered 2131 meals on location. Season 1 will conclude with the broadcast on the 21st.
Heo Young-man made his debut after winning a newcomer cartoon contest at the Hankook Ilbo in 1974, and since then, he has created numerous hit works such as 'Bridal Mask', 'Fly! Superboard', 'Beat', 'Tazza', and 'Sikgaek'.
