Hwang Kwang-hee Apologizes Over G-Dragon Controversy and Warns Against Defamation
Hwang Kwang-hee addresses the controversy regarding the G-Dragon segment, apologizing for editing choices and warning against malicious comments.
On the 28th, in a video titled 'I.O.I Concert Practice Site Raid!! Just 30 Minutes with Kwang-hee' on the YouTube channel 'Solomon Code,' singer Hwang Kwang-hee apologized for the controversy surrounding the G-Dragon segment.

Hwang Kwang-hee first mentioned the released G-Dragon segment, saying, "The reaction was very intense. The reaction was intense in many ways, but in the first episode, there were many things I couldn't tell you. If you knew, you would cry. People asked why I received such comments. Many were also curious why I went to Coachella but didn't film Coachella, but I do not have the authority to film the surrounding areas."
He continued, "People also ask why I didn't do a talk show with the other members, but that's because the other members and their agencies are different, so it wasn't approved. I greeted everyone, but it was edited out. Of course, there were many parts where I was nervous about the script and various other things. I truly apologize for that. Please watch as I develop step by step," while bowing his head.
He also attempted to block further controversy, stating, "I am truly grateful to Jiyong for taking out his busy and precious time, and to the agency Galaxy Corporation. I can admit when I am wrong and say when I am not. If you post strange comments anymore, I will proceed with a lawsuit. I was also planning to sue but held back."
