Actor Ryu Jun-yeol has signed with Galaxy Corporation, expanding his base for acting, global projects, AI-linked content and IP business.
Actor Ryu Jun-yeol has established a new base for his career by joining Galaxy Corporation, a physical AI enter-tech company that connects artificial intelligence, humanoid robots and entertainment.

Galaxy Corporation officially announced on July 1 that it had signed an exclusive contract with Ryu. The company said it would actively support all areas of his activities so that his distinctive acting ability and artistic capacity can shine even more brightly on the global stage. It also said it plans to create new synergy by linking content, global projects, AI and IP business around the actor's future work.
Ryu Jun-yeol first drew attention after making his debut in the 2015 film "Socialphobia." Since then, he has built recognition through solid acting and a distinctive approach to character interpretation. His popularity grew widely through the drama "Reply 1988," and he went on to show a broad acting range across genres in films including "The King," "A Taxi Driver," "Believer," "Money" and "The Night Owl," establishing himself as one of the representative actors of Chungmuro, the Korean film industry.
Ryu has been recognized for both his eye for choosing projects and the depth of his acting, moving comfortably from complex characters in whom good and evil coexist to realistic portraits of ordinary people. Attention is now turning to his next steps as he prepares for the release of the Netflix series "Field Mouse."
Galaxy Corporation, where Ryu has now made his new home, describes itself as a future-oriented enter-tech company that combines artificial intelligence, humanoid robotics and entertainment. Based on artist IP, or intellectual property, the company aims to build a new entertainment ecosystem spanning content production, AI services, brand business and global business.
Galaxy Corporation's current roster includes G-DRAGON, Song Kang-ho, Taemin and Kim Jong-kook. With Ryu Jun-yeol joining the company, its global IP competitiveness across both actors and music artists is expected to become even stronger.
Choi Yong-ho, CHO, or Chief Happiness Officer, of Galaxy Corporation said Ryu Jun-yeol is a representative Korean actor who has both artistic quality and popular appeal. Choi added that the company will combine physical AI technology with creative content to expand Ryu's new possibilities into the global market.
Through this exclusive contract, Ryu Jun-yeol is also expected to take part in new forms of global projects that go beyond his existing acting career and connect with the AI and content industries.
