I Am SOLO 19th Ok-sun and Sang Cheol to Marry in November Following Stem Cell Donation

Ok-sun and Sang Cheol, who developed love through the 'Solo Virgin' special of I Am SOLO Season 19, are preparing for marriage, and Ok-sun's meaningful recent news has been revealed.

In a recent live broadcast on the YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment,' Ok-sun from Season 9 hosted a session featuring Ok-sun, Yeong Ja, and Jeong-suk from Season 19 to share various stories.

During the broadcast, the large bandage on Season 19 Ok-sun's neck drew attention. She stated, "I recently underwent a hematopoietic stem cell donation procedure. I registered as a donor about 17–18 years ago, but I hadn't heard anything until I recently received a call and decided to donate."

She explained, "Since it hasn't been long since the procedure, I am wearing a bandage for protection," sharing the fact that the donation she had waited for a long time finally resulted in actual help.

Ok-sun also shared the news of her marriage to Sang Cheol, whom she met through the show. The two are currently on their 943rd day of dating and are scheduled to hold their wedding this coming November.

Ok-sun revealed their secret to dating, saying, "We don't have major troubles, and even if we do, we resolve them immediately on the spot." She added, "Regardless of who is wrong first, I am the type to say 'I'm sorry' first, so we haven't had any big fights. Even when it feels like we might fight, it's quickly resolved with 'I'm sorry' or 'I'm even more sorry,'" demonstrating their stable relationship.

She also shared her honest thoughts on the process of marrying her first romantic partner. Ok-sun said, "Others ask if it's a waste, but for us, there is no one to compare to. Everything we do is a first, we have done everything we could for three years, and we decided to marry because we want to stay together longer."

The proposal was also carried out through sincere conversation rather than a flashy event. She revealed, "Sang Cheol brought up the topic of marriage first. He said, 'Isn't it about time we get married?' and 'I want to marry you,' and I replied, 'I would love that too.'"

The two became a final couple on I Am SOLO Season 19 and developed into a real-life couple. Having maintained their relationship steadily outside of the broadcast, the two are set to announce a new beginning with their wedding this November.
