Comedian Jo Hye-ryun shared a heartwarming update and a message of support for her son, who traveled to Australia on a working holiday following a difficult job search in Korea.

On the 6th, Jo posted several photos of her son, Woo-ju, on her SNS. In the photos, Woo-ju draws attention with a bright smile after participating in the '2026 Next Generation Global Entrepreneurship and Trade School,' where he received both a certificate of completion and the 'Global Network Award.'
The news garnered significant interest as the story of Woo-ju's repeated rejections during his job search in Korea had previously been made public.
Earlier, Jo appeared on a YouTube channel to speak candidly about her son's situation while addressing the reality of the youth unemployment crisis. She expressed sympathy for the challenges young people face, stating, "Not being able to find a job is not a sin. Right now, there simply aren't many places to work."
She further explained, "Woo-ju entered the Department of Game Planning, but COVID-19 broke out right after he enrolled. At that time, the game industry was promising, but as the AI era began in earnest, the demand for game planning personnel decreased significantly. The work itself to plan disappeared."
Jo gained widespread empathy by emphasizing, "My son—and I am not lying—sent out resumes to about 40 places and was rejected by all of them. So, he eventually decided to leave for a working holiday in Sydney. But just because he couldn't find a job doesn't make him a sinner."
Since starting a new chapter in Australia, Woo-ju has engaged in various activities, and through his participation in this Global Entrepreneurship and Trade School, he has achieved meaningful success by receiving both a certificate and a global network award.
