Kim Jong-kook Bought 6.2 Billion Won Newlywed Home Knowing Jang Keun-suk Would Be His Neighbor
Kim Jong-kook says on KBS2's 'Problem Child in House' that he knew Jang Keun-suk lived nearby before buying his 6.2 billion won newlywed villa.
Singer Kim Jong-kook and singer-actor Jang Keun-suk are set to reveal that they are close neighbors.

On the 5th, Jang Keun-suk, the original Korean Wave star widely known by the nickname "Asia Prince," will appear as a guest on the KBS2 variety program "Problem Child in House."
During the broadcast, Kim Jong-kook opens up about his particular connection with Jang Keun-suk. The two were residents of the same villa complex, living with only one alley separating them. Kim says, "There were a lot of reports when I moved, so I knew that I was neighbors with Keun-suk."
When Jang says, "It seems like we could have run into each other coming and going, so it is a shame that we have never met even once," Kim responds by explaining why he trusted the property. "Before I moved, I heard it was a place where Keun-suk had lived for a long time. Since it was a house Keun-suk had picked, I trusted it and went there. The energy is good," he says, showing his confidence in Jang's judgment.
When the "Oktapz" cast members become curious about the value of the two stars' homes, Kim gives a wry smile and says, "I think I moved in at the peak." Jang, by contrast, says proudly, "I am a native resident."
Jang also mentions his next acting role, saying, "I am playing a gangster in a new project." Kim then suggests, "Then you can come to me for acting lessons."
Kim Jong-kook held his wedding last September at a location in Seoul, with only family members and close acquaintances in attendance. For his newlywed home, he purchased a luxury villa in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, for 6.2 billion won. Jang Keun-suk also lives in the same villa. He is also reported to be a building owner with real estate holdings worth around 130 billion won, including properties in Samseong-dong and Cheongdam-dong in Seoul, as well as in Tokyo, Japan.
