Kim Jong Kook rejects car camping for hypothetical wife's hobby

Singer Kim Jong Kook brought laughter with his signature realistic wit when asked a hypothetical question about his wife's hobbies after marriage.

On the 24th, a video titled "T-Woojae and F-Jongkook's Adult Dating Counseling [Bone & Muscle Trip in Tokyo Prologue]" was uploaded to model Ju Woojae's YouTube channel, 'Today's Ju Woojae.'

During the session, the two consulted on dating concerns submitted by subscribers, candidly revealing their respective views on romance and marriage.

Ju Woojae explained his reason for inviting Kim Jong Kook, saying, "Since I tend to only talk about my own thoughts, I felt like I needed other opinions."

Regarding his personality, Kim Jong Kook stated, "I am an ISFP, but my T and F traits are almost split 50/50. Since I have been in broadcasting for a long time, I have to empathize a lot, so I am closer to an F when working, but normally, I am an extreme T personality."

He then drew laughter by expressing his conviction, saying, "I think dating counseling is the silliest thing in the world. People already know the answer, but in the end, they just do whatever they want."

When a story was introduced about someone considering marriage with a girlfriend of three years, Kim Jong Kook shared his thoughts: "It is often said that the transitional period in a relationship is about three years. Marriage is similar to a girlfriend coming over to your house and then not leaving. Ultimately, it is about your own time changing."

At this, Ju Woojae playfully asked, "If your sister-in-law's hobby was to go car camping alone in a camper van, how would you feel?"

Kim Jong Kook burst into loud laughter at the unexpected question, prompting Ju Woojae to tease him, saying, "That is the happiest laugh I have seen today."

Kim Jong Kook replied, "I laughed because the question itself was so funny. Why would you go car camping when it's so dangerous? There are so many great overseas travel options, why bother with car camping..." making the set erupt in laughter.

He then added a joke, "If you go car camping, don't you eventually have to drive the car back anyway?" before emphasizing once more that he was "just saying it to be funny."

Kim Jong Kook held a private wedding ceremony last September at a hotel in Seoul, attended by his non-celebrity wife, family, and close acquaintances.
