Lee So Ra Chooses Hong Jin-kyung Over Brand Campaign to Share the Same Stage

On the 7th, during the MBC entertainment program 'Sora and Jinkyung,' Lee So Ra revealed a decisive choice she made to stand on the same stage as Hong Jin-kyung.

While Lee So Ra and Hong Jin-kyung were eating bread for dinner, they simultaneously received text messages confirming they had passed auditions for a fashion show. Although the location and time for the runway were the same, they had both been accepted by different brands.

The next day, after Hong Jin-kyung left the accommodation, a message was sent to Lee So Ra. She had been selected as a campaign model for a brand. Lee So Ra cheered so loudly that her face turned red, exclaiming, "I made it."

Lee So Ra then showed a choked-up expression, saying, "I didn't think a call would come."

However, as she calmly re-read the text, her expression hardened as she realized, "The times overlap."

The date and time of that brand's campaign shoot coincided exactly with the fashion show. Watching this in the studio, Hong Jin-kyung expressed her frustration, saying, "Couldn't a model have other schedules? I don't understand that system."

Model Jung So-hyun shared her experience, noting, "Often, acceptance notices are delayed because they deliberate until the very end. I even have a friend who ran out of a restaurant after receiving one."

Faced with the choice between the fashion show and the campaign, Lee So Ra fell into deep thought before ultimately deciding, "Since I came to Paris with Jin-kyung, standing on the same stage as Jin-kyung is meaningful in my life," choosing the runway alongside Hong Jin-kyung.

In the studio, Hong Jin-kyung was moved, saying, "This is the first time I've seen this video."

Lee So Ra explained her reasoning: "I really wanted to do that brand I gave up. If I had seen it one more time and done it properly, there might have been an opportunity, but standing on the same stage with Jin-kyung is something that wouldn't happen otherwise."
