Lee So Ra, a piano performance comforting model and entertainer Hong Jin-kyung through her divorce and cancer battle—Uhm Jung-hwa sobs.

On the 14th, during the MBC entertainment program 'Sora and Jin-kyung', model and entertainer Lee So Ra played the piano, bringing tears to the eyes of model/entertainer Hong Jin-kyung and singer/actress Uhm Jung-hwa.
The final chapter of first-generation supermodel Lee So Ra and Hong Jin-kyung's challenge to the Paris Fashion Week runway unfolded. Lee So Ra met Hong Jin-kyung, who had just completed her second fashion show, at a restaurant equipped with a piano. Upon Hong Jin-kyung's request for a song, Lee So Ra stated, "I hope Jin-kyung's future life is peaceful and very happy," before performing Jeon In-kwon's 'Don't Worry, My Dear.'
During the moment, Hong Jin-kyung revealed that during the 15 years she had been out of touch with Lee So Ra, she went through marriage, childbirth, a battle with cancer, and divorce, even reaching a point where she wanted to give up on life. Hong Jin-kyung wept for a long time to Lee So Ra's comforting performance. Watching this in the studio, Uhm Jung-hwa also burst into tears.
After the performance ended, the two embraced each other in comfort. Uhm Jung-hwa, who listened to their conversation while crying, explained her reasons for breaking down: "More than anyone, I know those times when we chose to be alone because our hearts were too heavy. So many thoughts crossed my mind that I felt comforted myself. I felt that we could live happily in the future without worries. I really tried to hold it in. I was clenting my toes so hard. But I couldn't hold back when I saw the way you two looked at each other after the performance."
Lee So Ra and Hong Jin-kyung used to boast a deep friendship, frequently meeting through a close-knit group of entertainment industry representatives including the late Choi Jin-sil, Jeong Seon-hui, Lee Young Ja, Uhm Jung-hwa, and Choi Hwa-jeong, but naturally drifted apart after Choi Jin-sil passed away in 2008.
