Park Mi Sun Shares Journey of Overcoming Breast Cancer After 16 Rounds of Treatment
Park Mi Sun reveals her emotional battle with breast cancer, detailing her 16 rounds of chemotherapy and radiation treatments on MBN's 'Namui Jip Gwihan Gajok'.
On the 28th, MBN's family observation reality show 'Namui Jip Gwihan Gajok' released footage of Park Mi Sun, who has returned to broadcasting after battling breast cancer.

Park Mi Sun recalled the time she was diagnosed with breast cancer, saying, "I first discovered it through a health checkup. While filming 'Hanbly', I received a call from the hospital, and I felt something was strange because they didn't speak very clearly. While filming, I couldn't focus on the video."
She continued, "The next day, I went to the hospital to confirm, and I asked the doctor, 'What should I do now? My broadcasting schedule is so packed.' I worried about my broadcasts first. But since my body comes first, I apologized and organized my broadcasting schedule."
She reminisced, "I thought I would only need surgery and radiation, but once they opened me up, they found it had metastasized to the lymph nodes, so I underwent chemotherapy and radiation. At that time, I would almost die for a week and then come back to life for a week to receive treatment. I underwent chemotherapy 16 times."
She expressed how painful the battle was, saying, "It was treatment to save my life, but I truly felt like I was dying. However, I did it because I had to, and I endured because I had to. If they asked me to do it again, I don't think I could."
Lee Bong-won, who stayed by her side, sighed with relief, saying, "It was naturally difficult. But no one is having a harder time than the person themselves. As some people know, it is very painful. Hair falls out, the body hurts, so irritability, stress, and hysteria are bound to happen. But she underwent treatment with a positive mindset, trying her best to recover, and she has improved significantly."
Park Mi Sun announced that she has improved greatly, stating, "The treatment is completely finished, and I am continuing to take medication and undergo periodic checkups. I can't say I am exactly the same as before, but my physical strength has recovered to about 50-60%. I am managing it well."
