Song Eun-i Named by Lee Seong-mi to Lead Her Funeral During Breast Cancer Battle
Comedian Lee Seong-mi revealed why she entrusted her junior, Song Eun-i, to lead her funeral services during her battle with breast cancer.
Comedian Lee Seong-mi has revealed the behind-the-scenes story of why she designated her junior, Song Eun-i, as the chairperson for her funeral.

On the 25th, Song Eun-i and Lee Seong-mi shared deep religious faith and mutual affection on the personal channel 'Lee Seong-mi's Cannot Go.'
The two continued a sincere conversation regarding religion. Song Eun-i, who is known for her highly logical and rational personality, shared, "When I first went to church, the Bible and the Gospel were simply believed. It was amazing that the fact that Jesus died on the cross because of our sins and that we live thanks to that was believed before it was even understood."
Lee Seong-mi empathized deeply, saying, "When I look at Song Eun-i, God leads her so well, and Eun-i also strives to follow that guidance. Although Song Eun-i stays behind me, her senior, she is a true leader of our entertainer community," acknowledging her presence.
Lee Seong-mi revealed her extraordinary trust in Song Eun-i by saying, "I jokingly said, 'When I die, you handle all the funerals.'" Song Eun-i laughed, responding, "Because you designated me as the funeral chairperson behind my back, I only realized later through an article, 'Oh, I've become the funeral chairperson.'"
She expressed her sincerity toward her senior, saying, "There are so many juniors who follow and love her, and the fact that out of all those people, she entrusted such a heavy responsibility to me is something I am truly grateful for."
Lee Seong-mi was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer in 2013 and was declared cancer-free in 2018 after five years of chemotherapy. At that time, while preparing for death, she entrusted her funeral arrangements to Song Eun-i.
