Uee reveals 'Iron Girls' cast bonded through public bathhouse visits
Actress Uee shares how the 'Iron Girls' cast built deep friendships through shared workouts and frequent trips to public bathhouses.
Actress Uee revealed that she built close friendships with her fellow cast members from 'Iron Girls' by naturally visiting public bathhouses together during filming.

On the 20th, Uee appeared as a guest on the tvN STORY variety show 'Table Tales' to share behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of the sports variety show 'Iron Girls'.
During the program, Uee mentioned that challenging herself with various sports allowed her to rediscover the passion she felt during her days as an athlete.
"I was able to re-experience the emotions I felt when I was a swimmer," she confessed. "In particular, I was able to ride a bicycle again through 'Iron Girls,' even though I had developed a trauma from falling heavily in the past."
Upon hearing this, Lee Young Ja asked, "When you exercise, you sweat a lot, so I was curious where actresses shower after filming."
Uee replied, "At first, we also worried about it. We wondered what to do since we have hair, makeup, and stylists. However, after the first shoot, everyone realized that this program isn't one where you can stay all dolled up."
She continued, surprising the cast by revealing, "From then on, we stopped going to the salon altogether. After finishing our workouts, we would all naturally shower together, and we didn't feel self-conscious at all. We even went to public bathhouses frequently."
She also shared the reaction of actress Keum Sae-rok, who newly joined the group.
Recalling the moment, Uee said, "When Keum Sae-rok first entered the shower room and saw us naturally getting ready to wash, she was very surprised. She said she would just go home to wash."
However, she eventually adapted to the atmosphere over time.
"When we said, 'We exercised, so we should wash,' she gradually adjusted," Uee said with a laugh. "Later on, one by one, they joined us naturally, and by the end of filming, Keum Sae-rok was actually the one seeking out the bathhouse first."
She added, making the set erupt in laughter, "She would even hold us back when we tried to go home, insisting that we go to the bathhouse first."
Uee expressed that the time spent sweating and showering together greatly narrowed the distance between the members, noting that through 'Iron Girls,' she gained not only fitness but also precious connections.
