During an appearance on the YouTube channel "Kkondaehee" released October 31, Ahn Jae-wook shared how he once joined a citizen singing "Friend" at the Han River, an incident that reportedly left Kim Gun-mo sulking as he walked alone.

Actor Ahn Jae-wook revealed an anecdote about providing an unforgettable surprise performance to a citizen while walking along the Han River with singer Kim Gun-mo. While a citizen was passionately singing his hit song "Friend," Ahn approached them, put an arm around their shoulder, and sang along, yet the citizen did not realize for quite some time that he was Ahn Jae-wook. The unexpected situation turned the scene into a burst of laughter.

Ahn Jae-wook appeared on the video titled "Original Hallyu Star vs. Total Loafer Style (feat. Ahn Jae-wook)" on Kim Dae-hee's YouTube channel "Kkondaehee," which was released on October 31, to reminisce about the time he visited the Han River with Kim Gun-mo. On this day, Ahn provided laughter from his unique visuals by appearing dressed as the 70-year-old character Nam-won from the musical "Let Me Fly."

He continued his conversation with Kim Dae-hee by introducing himself as someone acquainted with Ahn Jae-wook. Breaking the ice with a natural skit, Ahn brought up the unexpected happening that occurred while walking the Han River with Kim Gun-mo in the past.

At the time, it was a common sight at the Han River grassy areas to see citizens gathered in small groups with karaoke machines to enjoy singing. While Ahn Jae-wook and Kim Gun-mo were walking, they noticed a citizen singing Ahn's hit song "Friend." Unable to simply pass by the sight of his own song being played, Ahn Jae-wook immediately approached the citizen.

He naturally put his arm around the citizen singing and sang "Friend" together with passion. However, the reaction was unexpected. The citizen did not recognize who Ahn Jae-wook was and instead regarded him as part of their group, while those around them also showed no particular sign of surprise, merely applauding the two people singing. A situation unfolded where the protagonist was singing his own song right in front of a top star, yet the star was not recognized.

The twist occurred while the song was continuing. It is said that the citizen finally realized his identity the moment they made eye contact with Ahn Jae-wook, and only then were they greatly surprised. A common outing at the Han River instantly turned into an impromptu joint performance with a star. For Ahn Jae-wook, it remained a special memory of singing his song together with a citizen.

Kim Gun-mo's reaction could not be left out of the story. Ahn Jae-wook reported that while he was singing with his arm around the citizen, Kim Gun-mo appeared somewhat sulky. Perhaps dissatisfied with the situation where only Ahn's song was echoing instead of his own, Kim Gun-mo reportedly continued walking alone. This anecdote, which clearly reveals the personalities of the two stars, drew attention by adding unexpected laughter.
