Broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo has started a new part-time job at a clothing store after leaving her position at a gomtang restaurant. She has been busy managing everything from organizing merchandise and garment maintenance to filming and editing promotional videos. Notably, she drew attention by stating she is maintaining her physique for fitting model roles, declaring, "I am a size 55."

On the 26th, a video titled "New part-time job started... First reveal of the special connection with Seo Taiji and Boys! Oppa, are you doing well?" was uploaded to Ji Yeon-soo's YouTube channel, 'Ji Yeon-soo's Yeonsuropta.' In the video, Ji Yeon-soo visits her new workplace in a subway station and greets viewers by saying, "I'm here for my new part-time job," to share her recent status.

The new workplace is a clothing store located within a subway station, operated by her cousin. Upon arriving at the store, Ji Yeon-soo checked the newly arrived merchandise and began her duties in earnest. She explained the step-by-step process required before selling products, saying, "I have to check if everything arrived correctly, steam them, clean up the loose threads, and then hang them on hangers."

The process of preparing the clothes also revealed unexpected difficulties. She expressed concern about using scissors to remove loose threads, fearing she might accidentally cut the clothing. "I think I'm still timid; I have to use scissors, but I'm scared I'll cut the clothes," Ji Yeon-soo confessed. It was a small struggle arising from the process of adapting to a new field after leaving the familiar restaurant work.

Ji Yeon-soo's responsibilities extend beyond mere product organization and sales. She also serves as a fitting model, wearing new arrivals to film promotional videos. She has even been handling the editing of those videos to upload to the store's social media accounts. This means she is responsible for online promotion in addition to attending to customers in the store.

"Besides selling clothes at the shop, I have to film Reels to create promotional videos," she said, adding, "That is why I have been managing myself diligently." She continued with a candid remark, "I have matched the mannequin size. Most fitting models are very thin and are a size 33. I am a size 55. It hasn't been possible since having a child." She explained that while sharing realistic concerns about her body changing after childbirth, she continues to manage herself for her new duties.

She did not hide her satisfaction with the new workplace. "I didn't realize it when I worked at the restaurant, but seeing pretty things constantly makes me feel like I'm becoming pretty too," Ji Yeon-soo said. Her cousin also praised her appearance, saying, "If you are as slim as you, it would be fun to wear clothes. Everything looks pretty on you when you wear it." Unlike her restaurant work where she struggled with food every day, the environment of encountering various clothes appeared to provide new vitality.

The story of how she found it difficult to fully hug her son, Min-soo, while working at the gomtang restaurant was also mentioned. Her cousin said, "When you worked part-time at the gomtang restaurant, you said you couldn't hug Min-soo." Previously, Ji Yeon-soo had revealed that she hesitated to hug her son because the smell of food clung heavily to her body while working, worrying that her child might remember her through that food smell. Her cousin reassured her that there is no need for such worries at the new workplace.

Ji Yeon-soo previously announced that she left the gomtang restaurant due to an injury to her right arm. At the time, she explained, "I resigned due to a right arm injury. I am currently on a leave of absence for the time being." As she has started a new part-time job because it became difficult to continue her previous work due to the injury, this update can be seen as a process of creating new changes in her daily life.

Ji Yeon-soo, who married Eli of the group U-KISS in 2014, gave birth to her son Min-soo and has been raising him alone since her divorce in 2020. Her image of adapting to various tasks from product management to video production at her new workplace shows the reality of balancing work and childcare as a single mother. As she has started anew after leaving a familiar job, attention is focused on what she will show in this new environment.
