KwakTube explains why he lacks funds for a new family car
YouTuber KwakTube has revealed that his heavy spending on food and video games has left him without significant funds to purchase a new family car, despite his current vehicle lineup.
YouTuber KwakTube revealed on the 27th that his preference for spending money on food and video games has left him without the capacity to buy a larger vehicle for his family. Despite owning a BMW X1, the creator noted the car is too small for his seven-month-old son, Tae-san, and necessary childcare supplies.

YouTuber KwakTube has shared his considerations regarding purchasing a family car after becoming a father, explaining why he does not spend large sums of money on automobiles. Despite being known to earn a significant income, he confessed that the reason he lacks the capacity to buy a better car was unexpected: he pours his money into food and video games instead of vehicles.
On the 27th, a video titled "KwakTube's New Car Trip After Becoming a Father" was released on KwakTube's YouTube channel. In the video, KwakTube showed the process of looking for a new car for his family, noting that since the birth of his son, Tae-san, he has begun to feel that his existing vehicle lacks sufficient space. The size of a vehicle, which he did not care much about during his days of traveling alone, has become a practical concern now that he has started parenting.
KwakTube revealed that he currently owns two vehicles, a BMW X1 and a Kia Ray. However, he explained that even the BMW X1 is not spacious enough when trying to carry a baby along with a stroller and various childcare supplies. "Since the baby arrived, the X1 is very small," he said, adding, "When I try to load the baby, the stroller, and luggage, I realized there is a reason people drive the Carnival." He indicated that his criteria for selecting a car have changed as his family size has increased.
The candidates for a new car were quite diverse. He looked into the Genesis GV70, Volvo XC60, Hyundai Santa Fe, Palisade, and Carnival, and even considered the high-performance electric sports car Porsche Taycan. However, KwakTube drew a line, stating he does not feel much attraction to owning expensive cars. "I don't think Porsche is for me," he confessed, "I have no interest or greed for cars."
There was another area where he feels much more greed than in automobiles. KwakTube drew laughter when he said, "Because I have so much greed for food and games, if I were to crave a car as well, I would seem like a crazy person." He honestly revealed a lifestyle of spending on the food and games he enjoys, rather than the luxury cars or extravagant consumption that those around him might expect.
The part that particularly drew attention was his mention of his economic situation. "People might say that with this level of income, I could drive a better car, but I spent all the money here. Truly," KwakTube confessed, stating he spent the money on games. He followed this with self-deprecating humor, saying, "It's sad for me too. A crazy person who blew the money for a car on games." Separately from the so-called "10 billion won fortune theory" circulating online, his actual asset scale or specific game expenditures have not been disclosed. However, his spending tendencies as stated were clear.
After finishing his car deliberations, KwakTube headed to Duri Land, an amusement park operated by actor Im Chae-mu, with his wife and his seven-month-old son, Tae-san. Enjoying a family outing and riding rides with his son, he realized the change in his daily life since becoming a father, saying, "I've become an adult who comes to the amusement park with my son." For someone whose life has centered on travel and content, spending time with his family has now become an important part of his daily routine.
KwakTube expressed his affection for his son, saying, "It's nice to go on family trips. I want to show Tae-san many more good places." Netizens who watched the video responded with comments such as, "The baby is so cute," "I couldn't resist the thumbnail and clicked," and "Parenting and being a father are hard, but keep uploading videos steadily." The video, which began with concerns over purchasing a car, captured the changes in KwakTube as a father, encompassing his honest confession about games and his affection for his son.
KwakTube married a non-celebrity woman five years his junior last October and welcomed his son, Tae-san, in March this year.
