Solbi and Lee Kyu-han to marry in April 2027 after meeting on KBS dating show

Singer and painter Solbi and actor Lee Kyu-han plan to marry in a private ceremony in April 2027, after meeting on KBS dating reality show Pursuing Old Encounters. Solbi’s past account of receiving advances from seven male celebrities in a week has also returned to attention following the announcement.

Solbi’s agency, Jian Castle, said on the 15th that the two had promised to become spouses on the basis of mutual trust and love. They grew close while appearing together on the show last year and became a real-life couple after filming. They have recently completed a meeting between both families and are scheduled to hold a private wedding in April 2027. They announced their relationship through news of their marriage without a separate public dating period.

The renewed interest includes Solbi’s appearance on MBC’s Radio Star in 2012. She said at the time that seven male entertainers had made advances toward her in a single week early in her career, surprising the other guests. She said she had not been particularly proactive toward men as a rookie, but had received attention from several men over a short period.

Solbi explained that because she was a newcomer, she greeted everyone politely, and that messages then came through a stylist. Yoon Jong Shin joked on the program that he had heard she had “conquered every field, from singers and comedians to actors and athletes,” drawing laughter. The account described how her friendly, bright manner had won people’s interest.

She later recalled her twenties on SBS’s Dolsing Fourmen, saying that men kept approaching her even when she was simply breathing. She added that the constant attention while she was doing nothing had been exhausting. She also shared a former boyfriend’s unusual assessment that she had five different selves, and said, “Anyone who has seen these selves really can’t get away from me.”

Solbi debuted in 2006 as a member of co-ed group Typhoon, then expanded her work as a solo singer and television personality. More recently, she has also developed her own body of work as a painter.

Lee made his debut in the 1996 drama Start and went on to build an acting career in My Lovely Sam Soon, Que Sera, Sera, Graceful Family, May I Help You? and The Judge from Hell. The two, who have continued working in their respective fields, are taking a relationship that began on a dating show into marriage.
