Won Hyeon-ju’s previous accounts of loneliness while raising their daughter, Lua, have gained renewed attention following allegations that rapper Yang Hong-won committed infidelity before his recent wedding. While Yang Hong-won's agency has denied the claims and initiated legal action for extortion and defamation, the couple's past struggles with childcare and communication are being re-examined.

As rapper Yang Hong-won faces allegations of infidelity immediately following his marriage, the past daily life of his wife, Won Hyeon-ju, is being re-examined. Unlike Yang Hong-won, who has expressed his affection by including his wife's name in his song lyrics, Won Hyeon-ju has previously shared the loneliness and hardships she faced during the childcare process due to her husband's absence. While Yang Hong-won's side has strongly denied the allegations and initiated legal action, making the facts subject to further observation, sympathetic views are being directed toward his wife, who has only recently held her wedding.

Yang Hong-won and former model Won Hyeon-ju welcomed their daughter, Lua, in 2024 after an eight-year relationship. The two had been partners for a long time before recently holding their wedding ceremony, and they have shared their daily lives as parents through the YouTube channel 'Yang Hong-won's Parenting Diary'. Unlike Yang Hong-won's free-spirited image, Won Hyeon-ju's calm and diligent approach to parenting earned her favor from viewers, who even gave her epithets such as "stable wife" and "stable mother" online.

However, Won Hyeon-ju's appearance in the videos was not always bright. She revealed that while Yang Hong-won was busy with musical work and economic activities, she had to handle a significant portion of childcare alone, and felt frustration and resentment when communication with her husband was not smooth. In particular, a vlog showing her crying throughout the day while parenting weighed heavily on viewers' hearts.

At the time, Won Hyeon-ju expressed her inner feelings, noting that while she was with Lua, she would pretend to be okay, but would eventually feel angry, adding, "It feels like Lua senses the void." Her heart broke seeing her daughter become discouraged at the daycare center, which eventually led to her shedding tears. Even so, she tried to compose herself, believing her emotions might be due to premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

Won Hyeon-ju also expressed her desire to spend this time well for the sake of her relationship with her daughter, stating, "I need to do well during this time so that we can communicate well during her adolescence." After crying again at a playground, she contacted Yang Hong-won, who rushed to her side to offer comfort. At the time, the sight of the couple supporting each other even in difficult moments received warm responses. However, coupled with the recent allegations, the loneliness and anxiety Won Hyeon-ju revealed in her videos are gaining renewed attention.

Yang Hong-won's song lyrics have also become a subject of re-examination. He is known to include his wife's name in his songs. During a performance at the '2026 SKA Festival: Super Swag' held on the 24th, he sang the 2019 release 'ROSE', passionately performing the lyrics "Come back to me, Hyeon-ju." These lyrics are from the existing song and are not new statements made following this controversy.

Won Hyeon-ju previously revealed on a broadcast that during a period when they had broken up, there were songs Yang Hong-won wrote that included her name, and that she felt good listening to them after they reunited. As the songs that seemed to symbolize their relationship coincide with the timing of the infidelity allegations, public sentiment has become complex. Various reactions are emerging regarding how to interpret the gap between his image of calling his wife's name on stage and the allegations raised in reality.

The controversy erupted when an internet user, identified as A, claimed via SNS on the 23rd that Yang Hong-won had gone to an accommodation facility with another woman before the wedding. A released related recordings and messages to raise the allegations. The impact grew as circumstances emerged suggesting that Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju had unfollowed each other's SNS accounts. However, changes in SNS relationships alone cannot be used to conclude the current state of their relationship or the truth of the allegations.

Yang Hong-won's agency, AP Alchemy, strongly denied the claims made by A. The agency countered that the exposure is not true and that the false claims were made because an attempt at extortion for money did not go as planned. They further explained that after a performance, they moved to a motel after drinking at the whistleblower's house, and that Yang Hong-won simply slept in a state of intoxication, with no acts of affection occurring in the room. The agency stated that they have sued A for extortion, violation of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation. As the claims of both sides currently conflict, it is necessary to observe future investigations and legal proceedings rather than concluding the allegations are facts.

Some voices are cautioning against hasty judgments, pointing to Yang Hong-won's past remarks in broadcasts expressing how much he dislikes infidelity. On the other hand, there are reactions that the psychological burden the wife must bear immediately after marriage can be significant just from the allegations being raised. In particular, as past videos of Won Hyeon-ju, in which she publicly shared the difficulties of parenting and resentment due to her husband's absence, are spreading again, eyes are turning toward her with concern for how she might be feeling now.

Ultimately, this matter is one where the truth of the allegations, which pits exposure against rebuttal, must first be revealed. One cannot evaluate a couple's relationship solely based on calling a wife's name in a song, nor can one conclude Yang Hong-won's wrongdoing based only on unverified claims. However, as interest in the couple, who formed a family after a long relationship, has grown, the most necessary attitude is to avoid spreading speculation as if it were fact. Attention is focused on how the results of the legal response and the positions of the parties involved will be settled.
