Choi Dae-hoon finds success with 'Agent Kim Reactivated' as wife is former Miss Korea
Actor Choi Dae-hoon gains spotlight following the success of SBS drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated' and shares touching stories about his wife, Jang Yoon Seo.
Actor Choi Dae-hoon is receiving renewed attention following the success of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated.' As he receives critical acclaim for his stable action performances and commanding presence, interest in his personal life has also surged.

'Agent Kim Reactivated,' starring Choi, continues to maintain high topicality, even ranking first in the July drama brand reputation rankings. The series is an action drama depicting the journey of an ordinary man who must confront his past to find his missing daughter.
In the drama, Choi plays a Taekwondo instructor and long-time friend of Agent Kim. Upon learning that his friend's daughter has been kidnapped, he joins the pursuit and revenge, enhancing the drama's immersion with intense action and a loyal character.
Driven by the show's popularity, Jang Yoon Seo, known to be Choi's spouse, is also receiving renewed interest. Jang was the winner of Miss Korea in 2006 and placed third at the Miss International pageant held that same year. She subsequently worked as an actress, appearing in dramas such as 'Plan B,' 'My Fair Lady,' and 'Yacha.'
The two formed an In-Yun through drama filming in 2015 and later married to start a family.
Last year, Choi appeared on the tvN variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' and candidly expressed the apologies he felt toward his wife during his years of obscurity.
At the time, he recalled, "In the early days of our marriage, I handed over 1,000,000 won for living expenses. I always told my wife, 'Please wait for just 12 years.'"
He continued, "Since 'When Life Gives You Tangerines,' my wife frequently tells me, 'I like you so much.' Every time I hear those words, I feel happy yet choked up."
He also reminisced, "When our daughter was born, I didn't even have an agency, and I first asked them to increase my appearance fee by just 300,000 won. Back then, I said for the first time, 'If you give me 300,000 won more, I will work 1,000,000 won's worth harder.'"
Having reached his prime as an actor after a long period of obscurity, Choi is gaining empathy from viewers through his sincere approach both on and off-screen. In particular, critics suggest he has further solidified his presence as an actor through the hit 'Agent Kim Reactivated.'
