'Kim Bu-jang' Special 2-Part Programming Featuring So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, and Yoon Kyung-ho

Produced as a 10-episode series, 'Manager Kim' will air its final episode on the 25th, followed by a two-part special during the last week of July.

The special broadcast, titled 'Manager Kim The Universe,' is scheduled to air on July 31 and August 1.

The special will cover the production process and filming behind-the-scenes from the first episode to the finale, alongside interviews with the director and lead actors.

In particular, So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, and Yoon Kyung-ho, who led the drama, will appear in person to share their thoughts on concluding the project and stories from behind the scenes.

In addition, the special will reveal interviews with major cast members, as well as unreleased making-of footage and on-set stories that were not previously shown on TV.

SBS had previously confirmed the special programming for 'Manager Kim.'

At that time, an SBS official acknowledged the two-episode special while stating that the detailed composition was under discussion; the final programming direction has since been finalized.

'Manager Kim' continues to achieve high performance both domestically and internationally as it enters its final stretch.

According to Tudum, Netflix's official tracking site, the series recently recorded 9.1 million views (calculated by dividing total viewing time by the work's running time) and 59.1 million hours of viewing time over the past week, ranking No. 1 in the global non-English TV category for two consecutive weeks.

Furthermore, the series continues its global success, ranking No. 1 in 22 countries—including the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Bolivia, Peru, and Nigeria—and appearing in the TOP10 in 72 countries.

Domestic viewership rating is also on an upward trend.

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 6 recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 22.3%, 23.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area, and a peak instantaneous rating of 26.4%, setting a new personal best for the series.

This is the second-highest figure for an SBS Friday-Saturday drama, following 'The Penthouse 2: War in Life' (peak 29.2%).

With 4 episodes remaining until the finale, attention is focused on whether the series can break the 30% mark.

'Manager Kim' centers on the story of a former special agent who returns to the field to save his daughter. The series has received praise from domestic and international viewers for building a so-called 'Dad Universe' that combines intense action with human drama.
