Park Jung Soo Shares Stock Market Loss Story While Learning Investment Tips from John Lee
Actress Park Jung Soo reveals her past stock market failures and learns the secret of investing in time rather than price from expert John Lee.
On the 3rd, actress Park Jung Soo shared her story of failing in stock investing on her YouTube channel 'Even if it's not easy, you can't stop Jung Soo.'

Park Jung Soo met investment expert John Lee to receive investment secrets. While listening to a lecture on stocks, Park Jung Soo confessed, "I once went bankrupt while trading stocks."
She shared her frustration, saying, "At that time, I thought I would never do it again. I decided not to trade stocks again. I tried to avoid it. But recently, I felt that if you don't trade stocks, you aren't a person of this era. Four years ago, it would have been embarrassing to say this, but I bought several thousand shares of Samsung Electronics in the 80,000 won range. But Samsung Electronics dropped to 59,000 won. It stayed in the 50,000 to 60,000 won range for about 2 or 3 years. That was the stock I owned the most, so I was dying of anxiety. Then, about 3 years ago, it started rising little by little, so I said I would sell it when it reached a certain point. Since I couldn't do it myself, I entrusted it to H Securities. But as soon as I sold everything, it suddenly hit 80,000, then 90,000, and even went over 100,000 won." She continued, "Isn't the KOSPI around 7800 these days? But as it goes up, mine stays in the negative. Why is that?"
John Lee replied, "Most investors find themselves in the negative," and Park Jung Soo felt relieved, saying, "That is a comfort. I thought I was the only one."
John Lee mentioned ETFs, which are products that bundle multiple stocks together, and whispered, "The person who invested in ETFs had the best returns."
Park Jung Soo jokingly acted friendly, asking, "Can I do ETFs now? Let's be close friends."
Regarding the cause of stock investment failure, John Lee taught her the knack, saying, "You must never try to predict the stock price. The reason I invest in stocks is to invest in time."
Park Jung Soo wore a bitter expression as she said, "I held onto it for 3 to 4 years, and instead of leaving 5 million won, I sold what could have earned hundreds of millions of won."
John Lee concluded, "So, if you had waited just a little longer, it would have been fine. Waiting 4 years would have been enough. But you didn't think about investing in time. You only thought about hitting the price. You only thought about buying at 70,000 and selling at 80,000, or buying at 80,000 and selling at 100,000. Stock investing is whether you buy at 80,000 or 50,000, you wait 10 years and then sell at 200,000 or 300,000. That is the knack of investing in stocks."
