Shin Min-a wishes success for Na Hong-jin's 'Hope' following director's support
Actress Shin Min-a expresses gratitude to director Na Hong-jin for his support on her new drama set, while they cheer for each other's upcoming projects.
On the 19th, actress Shin Min-a expressed her gratitude to director Na Hong-jin, who directed the film 'Hope,' saying, “Thank you, Director!! Fighting for 'Hope' too!!”

Shin Min-a delivers a powerful dual performance playing twin sisters in the film 'The Eyes,' which is set to be released on the 24th. This work is a suspense thriller in which Seo-jin, who is gradually losing her sight due to a genetic disease, uncovers the truth behind the suspicions surrounding her twin sister's death.
As for her drama projects, Shin Min-a has decided on 'Su-Mok-Geum' as her next work and is currently filming. The drama depicts a romance between a male chef and a woman with a deep connection to a restaurant that is only open on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Programming is currently under discussion with multiple broadcasters.
Director Na has already received critical acclaim at the previous Cannes International Film Festival for his film 'Hope,' which is scheduled for release on the 15th of next month. Consequently, Shin Min-a and Director Na are cheering for each other's respective works.
Shin Min-a will also meet fans later this year through the Disney+ original series 'The Remarried Empress.' Based on the Naver Webtoon, which has enjoyed global popularity with approximately 2.6 billion cumulative views (as of December 2024), the series is a romantic fantasy epic. It follows Empress Navier of the Eastern Empire, who, upon being notified of her divorce by Emperor Sovieshu, accepts the divorce and instead requests permission to remarry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom. Shin Min-a plays the role of Empress Navier, who is praised for her brilliant intellect and innate elegance.
