Lee Seung-chul 40th anniversary show: Park Bo-gum duet and special performances

Actor Park Bo-gum, dancer Hyojin Choi, and Rihey will join the stage to celebrate singer Lee Seung-chul's 40th anniversary debut.

In the music show 'Never Ending Story – Lee Seung-chul,' part of the KBS 2TV Chuseok Special 'Your Life Is a Never-Ending Story – Lee Seung-chul' airing on the 24th at 7:30 PM, legendary songs representing Lee's 40-year musical journey will be performed alongside special collaboration stages.

Park will take to the stage personally to celebrate Lee's 40th anniversary. The two previously formed a connection through the music video for Lee's 'I Love You So Much.' In this performance, Park will play the piano and perform a special duet of 'I Love You So Much' with Lee.

Park expressed his respect and affection for Lee, stating, "I feel grateful to be able to join this 40th-anniversary commemorative stage and celebrate," while also offering Chuseok greetings to the audience at the venue.

Hyojin Choi and Rihey will join the stage for Lee's signature song 'Girls' Generation.' As the two dancers' intense performances blend with Lee's live vocals, they are expected to present the generational hit in a brand-new atmosphere.

The large-scale stage production will also be a spectacle. Starting with an opening featuring a 7m high cube, the show will utilize aerial lifts, giant air balloons, large LED screens, and drones to create unique visual scenes for each song.

Many of Lee's signature hits will be featured, including 'Heeya,' 'The Last Concert,' 'Western Sky,' 'My Love,' 'Today, I Again,' 'Shout,' 'Never Ending Story,' 'Jasmine Flower,' and 'Fate,' accompanied by Hwangje Band and a 30-piece string orchestra. Additionally, a three-dimensional sound system utilizing approximately 200 speakers will deliver the energy of the venue, where 12,000 audience members gathered, directly to viewers at home.

The finale 'Never Ending Story – Lee Seung-chul,' which concludes the 2026 KBS 2TV Chuseok Special 'Your Life Is a Never-Ending Story – Lee Seung-chul' following the documentary and variety segments, will air on the 24th at 7:30 PM.
