The Disney+ original series 'The Remarried Empress' has signaled the official start of its live-action adaptation by releasing its first teaser, featuring grand mise-en-scène reminiscent of Western royalty and the intense dialogue of the original work. As the series adapts a popular webtoon that recorded 2.97 billion cumulative global views, interest in character implementation and the recreation of the world is growing alongside the expectations of original fans.

On the 26th, Disney+ released the first teaser video for 'The Remarried Empress' through its official channels. The video features Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk, and Lee Se-young appearing as Empress Navier, Emperor Sovieshu, Prince Heinrich of the Western Kingdom, and Rasta, respectively, providing a condensed look at the core conflicts of the work.

The teaser begins with the majestic panoramic view of the Eastern Empire, followed by the appearance of Empress Navier. Sovieshu swears an unchanging love to Navier, saying, "No matter what happens, you are my only wife." However, the stability of the imperial family is shaken with the appearance of Rasta.

In particular, the scene capturing Sovieshu's bedroom symbolically presents the changing relationship between the two. Rasta appears in the place where Navier once stood, and Sovieshu says to her, "I missed you, Rasta." This directly contradicts the Emperor's previous promise of eternal love to Navier, foreshadowing the upcoming catastrophe.
