Actress Son Ye Jin is drawing attention after it was revealed that she prepared a wide variety of gifts, ranging from Apple products to shoes and perfume, for the staff at the wrap party for the Netflix series 'Snow White's Revenge'. Beyond the buzz of simply giving expensive gifts, her actions reveal a special bond between the actress and the production team, as she sought to express her gratitude to every member of the crew who worked together through the long filming period.

In Netflix Korea's YouTube content released on the 21st, Son Ye Jin appeared alongside Ji Chang Wook and Nana to share behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of 'Snow White's Revenge'. During this process, the production team introduced heartwarming stories about Son Ye Jin from the set and revealed anecdotes from the wrap party.

A staff member shared, “She showered everyone with gifts at the wrap party,” adding, “She personally selected a variety of gifts, from Apple products to shoes and perfume. It was a very happy wrap party.” In essence, a single actor's personal gift expanded into a small event for the entire set to celebrate the completion of the work.

Son Ye Jin also explained her reasons for preparing the gifts relatively calmly. “When I am working on a project, I focus so much on my acting that even with my long career, it isn't easy to take care of other things,” she said, expressing her gratitude to the staff members who do their best in their respective roles on set.

She continued, “I am so grateful that everyone does their best in their positions, but there isn't much I can do from my perspective. So, I thought they might be happy if I gave them gifts.” This explains that, separate from focusing on her role as an actress, she wanted to express her gratitude to the people who completed the work with her in her own way once filming ended.

In particular, instead of giving gifts only to specific individuals, Son Ye Jin prepared a generous quantity so that as many people as possible could receive them. “I prepared quite a lot,” she said, “because if I only prepared a few, there would be too many people who wouldn't receive anything.”

At a press conference, she explained that the desires and internal complexity of Lady Cho were important reasons for choosing the project. Director Jung Ji-woo also explained the casting background, evaluating Son Ye Jin as an actress with the power to carry the entire story.

'Snow White's Revenge' does not stop at being a simple period melodrama. Director Jung Ji-woo explained that by reinterpreting the classical relationship structure of the original through a 2026 lens, he placed the modern problem of 'who am I' at the center. As the desires and choices of the three characters—Lady Cho, Jo Won, and Hui-yeon—form the central axis of the work, the emotional lines of the actors and their relationship settings are also key points of interest.
