BTS V Tells Mexico: 'Call Your Mom Right Now' — Concert Erupts in Tears
BTS V moved a Mexican arena to tears on Mother's Day by greeting fans in Spanish and calling out the country's most common mother names.
A single remark from BTS member V turned a concert venue in Mexico into a sea of tears.

Mother's Day in Mexico falls on May 10. In a country where family bonds run deep, the occasion is considered one of the most important holidays of the year.
As it happened, BTS held their final performance in Mexico on that very day — the 10th — and V delivered his closing remarks in Spanish.
He called out: "Mexico! I learned a little Spanish. I want to say in Spanish how happy I am right now. I missed the Mexico ARMY so much. Oh, and today is Mother's Day. Did you celebrate? Call right now. Video call. Mamá María, Mamá Teresa, Mamá Lupe, Mamá Coco! Thank you for raising us. Happy Mother's Day. Mothers!"
The arena erupted in a cascade of cheers. María, Teresa, Lupe, and Coco — the names V called out — are among the most common women's names in Mexico. It was not a generic celebration, but a greeting that touched the local heart.
Popular Mexican TV program Cuéntamelo Ya also highlighted V's Mother's Day tribute, describing it as "an emotional message delivered to all mothers during the concert."
