Elly: "Don't Use Me as a Role Model—I'm Not a Good Example"

Singer Elly candidly revealed her glamorous past dating experiences through YouTube on the 20th.

Meeting her former colleagues from the 2008 variety show 'Seo In-young's Kaist', Elly toured the KAIST campus with students and ate school meals. One student asked her how to identify a good man, saying, "Since you're appearing on this, some friends asked me to ask you something."

Elly shared, "I'll tell you mine. My ideal type is someone with sense. I like people who take responsibility for what they say and are loyal. I had friends who dated men who flirted with every woman. Those kinds of people always end up cheating."

To a student who mentioned partying a lot during undergraduate years, Elly honestly shared her views on dating and experience: "That's why you should party a lot. I think you should enjoy yourself as much as possible at that age. I have no regrets. I've dated so many people that I can't even remember who they were. I think that's what's important."

After finishing the meal, Elly encouraged the students, saying, "Let's enjoy life." When one student referred to her as a "role model," Elly self-deprecatingly replied, "Why am I a role model? You shouldn't use me as a role model. I'm not a good example."

Elly married a non-celebrity in 2023 but divorced the following year. This year, she announced her remarriage to a businessman six years her senior.
