Former f(x) Member Luna Releases Single Album 'Cotton Candy'

Luna, the singer formerly known as the main vocalist of girl group f(x), released her single album 'Cotton Candy (Feat. Kylie of KIIRAS)' on June 8.

'Cotton Candy' is a remake of BGH to's 'Cotton Candy (Feat. Eunjung of T-ara),' a track that had previously received wide love through the variety program 'Happy Sunday: 2 Days & 1 Night' and as background music, or BGM, on Cyworld mini-homepages.

For this single album, Luna reinterpreted the original song through her own emotional sensibility. Her distinctive tone and soft vocals give the track a fuller atmosphere while keeping the familiar sweetness of the original intact.

The new version was arranged by producer DEMIIAN. Its defining appeal lies in the way a sweet melody, evoking cotton candy, blends with a trendy beat. Kylie of girl group KIIRAS took part as a featured artist, while Kurumi joined the recording on chorus.

KIIRAS members Kylie and Kurumi are also connected to the song's next step. Kurumi is scheduled to perform a Japanese-language version of the newly remade 'Cotton Candy' at a concert in Japan this July, and a digital release is also being prepared.

Meanwhile, 'Cotton Candy' has already been introduced through remake projects by other musicians. Following Jajeong's 'Cotton Candy (Feat. Dae-beom),' which was used as background music for 'Earth Arcade Season 3,' and X909's 'Cotton Candy (2025),' Luna's version of 'Cotton Candy' has now been released.
