Hwasa: "Scalded by Humidifier Water While Naked — Performed with Bandaged Feet"
Hwasa revealed she suffered second-degree burns after spilling boiling humidifier water on her feet while naked, yet still performed on stage bandaged.
Singer Hwasa shared the harrowing story of a frightening accident in which she burned the soles of her feet.
On the 14th, a video titled "Sunbaenim, Did You Eat All of That? lol" was uploaded to Kang Min-kyung's YouTube channel.
Kang Min-kyung mentioned Hwasa's foot injury and asked, "Are you all better now?" Hwasa replied, "I'm fully recovered, thankfully. At first, the doctors really scared me. I knocked over a heated humidifier — that water must be over 100 degrees. And I was completely naked at the time."
She went on to describe what happened: "The lucky thing is that I didn't spill it all over my body — the water hit the floor, and I stepped in it while trying to dodge it. There was so much spilled that I ended up stepping right in it."
She also recounted how she pushed through the ordeal: "I had a performance right away. I went on stage with my foot wrapped in bandages and sang. That whole day, I kept hypnotizing myself, saying, 'Walk on the blade.'"
Hwasa had recently been diagnosed with second-degree burns on the soles of her feet after accidentally stepping in scalding water spilled from a heated humidifier shortly before a scheduled performance.
