Ko Ji-yong's son acts as 'one-day intern' at mother's hospital

Seung-jae, the son of Sechs Kies member Ko Ji-yong, has shared a glimpse of his recent growth. Once beloved for his appearances on the KBS2 show 'The Return of Superman,' Seung-jae drew warm attention by acting as a 'one-day intern' helping with cleaning duties at the hospital run by his mother.

On the 15th, Heo Yang-im, Ko's wife and a family medicine specialist, posted playful photos of her son's daily life on her SNS.

"A one-day intern for the weekend," Heo wrote. "He is working quite diligently, alternating between the vacuum cleaner and the mop."

She added, "Salary has been paid in full with Mom's praise and a delicious dinner," sharing her pride in her son's sincere attitude.

The released photos show Seung-jae tidying floors with a mop and cleaning tools at the dermatology clinic operated by Heo. His appearance has changed so much since his childhood television appearances that his growth was immediately noticeable to fans.

In particular, the sight of him meticulously cleaning various parts of the hospital to help his mother brought smiles to viewers. Beyond a simple experience, his dedicated performance of his assigned tasks revealed a much more mature side of him.

Seung-jae earned significant affection in the past when he appeared on the KBS2 parenting variety show 'The Return of Superman' alongside his father, Ko. He earned the nickname 'Nation's Nephew' for his clever speech, curious personality, and the warm way he cared for his father.

Although there has been little official media exposure since the show, he has remained in the spotlight through occasional photos shared by his parents documenting his growth.

Ko, a former member of the group Sechs Kies, married family medicine specialist Heo Yang-im in 2013, and they welcomed their son, Seung-jae, the following year in 2014.

Currently, Heo continues her medical practice, while Ko focuses on his business ventures and personal life rather than broadcasting. The couple refrains from television appearances to respect their son's privacy, but they continue to communicate with fans by intermittently sharing family updates via SNS.
