Koyote's SHIN JI focuses on muscle recovery after rapid weight loss
Koyote member SHIN JI shares her intense workout routine to rebuild muscle mass and physical strength following significant weight loss.
Koyote member SHIN JI has shared an update on her recent dedication to exercise, aiming to recover muscle mass following significant weight loss.

On the 12th, SHIN JI posted a photo of herself working out on her SNS with the short caption, "My arms are shaking." In the photo, SHIN JI is seen focusing on gym equipment while dressed in athletic wear. While her slim physique is striking, her recent health disclosures suggest her current focus is on regaining muscle strength and physical balance rather than further weight loss.
Previously, SHIN JI visited an oriental medicine clinic with her husband, Moon Won, as seen on her personal channel. During the visit, the doctor examined her body composition and expressed concern over her lack of muscle mass, noting, "Your fat levels are fine, but you have too little muscle." The doctor specifically emphasized the need for strength training, warning that her significant lack of upper body muscle could lead to shoulder pain.
SHIN JI has previously disclosed her history of rapid weight loss. Last May, she confessed on her channel, "I am 164cm tall, but I went down to 43kg and even saw 42.9kg," adding, "My body must have been hurting." She explained that she lost weight despite eating well, noting that mental stress also played a role.
Ultimately, SHIN JI's priority is no longer reducing numbers on a scale, but managing her health to rebuild her physical strength and muscle. Her recent comment, "My arms are shaking," highlights her active efforts to address her previous lack of muscle strength.
Having recently started a new chapter of life following her marriage, SHIN JI appears to be prioritizing physical stamina and health over external appearance. It seems she has realized that building a resilient body is more important than simply maintaining a thin frame.
SHIN JI held a private wedding ceremony this May with singer Moon Won, who is seven years her junior.
