Oh Yu-jin transforms into a blonde fox for new single 'Fox, What Are You Doing?'

Trot singer Oh Yu-jin has ramped up excitement for her upcoming digital single comeback, 'Fox, What Are You Doing?', by releasing intense new concept photos.

Oh Yu-jin recently shared concept photos for her new song 'Fox, What Are You Doing?' via her official SNS. In the images, she exudes a more mature aura, leaning against the floor and staring into the camera with bright blonde hair styled in twin braids and paired with animal-ear headbands.

The high-contrast styling, featuring a white top, black bottoms, and boots, adds a sophisticated edge to her signature bubbly image. Her bold makeup and gradient-colored hair have heightened curiosity regarding the new song's concept. The images also include the song title and the release schedule for noon on the 21st, signaling that the comeback is imminent.

This new song marks her first release in approximately nine months since 'Some' was released last year. Her agency, Totalset, teased her transformation, stating, "Oh Yu-jin, who has been loved for her fresh and bubbly charm, will showcase an upgraded concept and deepened musical capabilities in this album truly.""

In line with the comeback schedule, the agency is building anticipation by sequentially releasing four different types of concept photos and a music video teaser.

Born in 2009, Oh made a name for herself by gaining recognition for her outstanding vocals and stage presence on KBS 2TV's 'Trot National Festival.' Despite her young age at the time, she won a bronze medal by delivering stable live vocals and saxophone performances, subsequently establishing herself as a next-generation trot star through various broadcasts and performances.

She later challenged the idol genre by appearing on MBC's 'My Teenage Girl' and proved her growth by placing third on TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 3.' The stage experience she has accumulated through various competition programs is regarded as a core competitive strength for the singer.

Oh is also balancing her professional activities with her studies. She entered the Practical Music Department of Hanlim Multi Art School as a scholarship student and continues her education alongside her broadcasting and performance schedules. Additionally, she serves as the youngest honorary ambassador for Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, participating in regional promotion.
