Roy Kim reveals Marine Corps stories and upcoming remake album on Radio Star
Roy Kim joins Radio Star to share funny Marine Corps anecdotes, his role as a BYC model, and news about his first remake album after 14 years.
On the 20th, MBC's 'Radio Star' (Planned by Choi Yoon-jung / Directed by Yoon Hye-jin, Hwang Yoon-sang, Byeon Da-hee) will be presented as a special 'Radio Star Spring Festival' featuring Kim Chang-wan, Choi Jung-hoon, Roy Kim, and Han Ro-ro.

Roy Kim shares updates on his life following his discharge from the Marine Corps. He reveals the reality of being a singer from the Marines, noting that whenever he steps onto a stage or attends an event, questions like "What class are you!" never stop.
He shows a cute sense of bravado while talking about how his stomach has completely changed since his military service, jokingly saying, "I can even catch moths."
He also shares an episode about appearing in combat uniform at his older sister's wedding, illustrating how inseparable his recent life has been from the Marine Corps.
Furthermore, he shares his current activities as a model for the underwear brand BYC. He expresses a unique sense of pride as an underwear ambassador, noting that he is active for a brand that legendary seniors like Yu In-chon and Lee Deok-hwa once modeled for.
Following this, he shares his honest thoughts on the reality of being called an entertainer more often than a singer in recent variety shows. He expresses a sense of grievance(?) by stating that since his SNS and YouTube activities, his funny image has become stronger than expected.
He also reveals behind-the-scenes stories related to videos from his childhood. Confessing that he appeared on broadcasts as a child actor, he could not hide his embarrassment when a video surfaced of him displaying his talent while imitating 'Re-Mario.' Seeing his highly excited younger self, Roy Kim distressed, saying, "I can't watch this."
He will then perform a medley of hit songs including 'Bom Bom Bom' and a special cover stage for 'Radio Star.' He also shares that he is currently preparing a remake album for the first time in 14 years since his debut.
