Yoo's side has challenged visa denials multiple times, and even after a ruling from the Supreme Court of Korea, new lawsuits have continued as visas were denied again.

This legal battle has not ended in 2026. According to a report by Yonhap News Agency, in the third lawsuit filed by Yoo to cancel a visa denial, the first instance court ruled in favor of Yoo in August 2025, after which the appellate process proceeded. Therefore, rather than expressing the current entry issue as a matter already finalized, it is more accurate to view it as a matter where legal proceedings are still ongoing.

As such, public perception of Yoo's present is dualistic. While his ordinary daily life with his family shows how an individual has built a home over a long period, it remains difficult to separate his name from the historical context of the 2002 incident and the subsequent entry issues in South Korea.

Nevertheless, what stands out in these photos is the family's time that has flowed separately from political and social controversies.
