T-ara's So Yeon shares glimpses of luxury life in Dubai

So Yeon, formerly of T-ara, has shared glimpses of her luxurious daily life in Dubai. Moved by an acquaintance who picked her up in a high-end vehicle right in front of her house, So Yeon expressed her gratitude with a finger heart.

On the 24th, So Yeon posted a video on SNS with the caption, "My brothers who came to pick me up in a flower carriage because my younger sibling was alone." The video shows an acquaintance arriving to pick up So Yeon in a luxury vehicle featuring impressive gull-wing doors. Thanks to them, she was able to travel to a restaurant comfortably.

The meal that followed was also extraordinary. Conveying the relaxed local atmosphere, So Yeon noted, "Dubai is warm. Non-alcoholic dinner. Many things have appeared in the neighborhood while I was away." She revealed that she spent as many as 4 hours talking with her acquaintances, covering various topics such as society, AI, and sports.

Rather than the flashy vehicle, what So Yeon emphasized more was the loyalty of her friends. She showed her affection by calling the acquaintances who came directly to her house to pick her up while she was alone "my brothers." It was a moment where the presence of the connections she made while living in a foreign country felt even more significant.

So Yeon married soccer player Cho Yu Min in 2022. As Cho Yu Min transferred to Sharjah FC in the United Arab Emirates league in 2024, So Yeon also moved her residence to Dubai and is continuing her life there.

Having debuted as a member of T-ara in 2009 and leaving the team in 2017, So Yeon has been showing a new daily life after marriage as a soccer player's wife and a resident abroad. Even amidst the glamorous scenery of Dubai, what ultimately made So Yeon smile was the extraordinary loyalty of her friends who came to her house, rather than the luxury vehicle.
