Yujeong, a former member of BBGIRLS, is sparking intense online debate after announcing her upcoming appearance at the Waterbomb Festival. As a star who was once at the center of the "Rollin'" chart-climbing syndrome, while some fans are expressing excitement, others are offering complex reactions due to the strong connection between her image and the group's signature songs.

Recently, her agency R&D Company announced that Yujeong will perform at Waterbomb Sokcho 2026, held at the Hanwha Resort Seorak Sorano in Sokcho, Gangwon-do, on August 22. The agency teased her transformation, stating, "Moving beyond her existing bright and healthy image, she plans to showcase her charm as a new 'Summer Muse.'"

However, following the news, cautious reactions emerged among some fans and netizens. In particular, since BBGIRLS' representative song "Rollin'" is inextricably linked to the narrative of the members, including Yujeong, opinions such as "I am curious what repertoire she will show on a solo stage" and "If she is going to sing that song, wouldn't it be more appropriate to perform with the currently active BBGIRLS?" were raised.
