Dancer Vata to marry actress Ji Ye-eun in December

Dancer Vata has announced his marriage to actress Ji Ye-eun, expressing his deep affection for his bride-to-be. Following their decision to go public with their relationship just four months ago, the couple has moved quickly toward marriage.

On the 2nd, Vata posted on his SNS, stating, "I would like to share new news about my life with those who have sent me constant love and support," and added, "I am planning to marry the most precious person to me."

His description of Ji was particularly heartfelt. He introduced her as "a gift-like person who loves me for who I am," and "a truly grateful person who taught me what love is, to someone like me who lived only for work." He explained that while dance and the stage had always been the center of his existence, Ji has awakened new emotions and meaning in his life.

Regarding his feelings ahead of the wedding, Vata said, "We will live happily, relying on each other," and added, "I would be truly grateful if you could congratulate us with warm wishes. I will strive to live by giving back as much as the support you have sent us."

Ji's agency, CP Entertainment, also officially announced the marriage. An official from the agency stated, "The two have promised to share their lives based on deep trust," and requested, "Please offer warm congratulations and support for the two as they prepare for their new beginning."

The couple, both born in 1994, began their public relationship after confirming their romance last April. While they were initially described as colleagues with mutual feelings, their relationship deepened into marriage. The wedding is scheduled for this December.

The union has drawn attention as it brings together two different professional worlds. Vata, a choreographer from the group 1MILLION, gained mainstream recognition leading We Dem Boyz on Mnet's "Street Man Fighter" in 2022. He has since expanded his influence as a choreographer for K-pop artists, including contributing to Blackpink's JENNIE's "You & Me" choreography.

Ji began her acting career with the web drama "How To" in 2017 and gained recognition for her comedic timing and unique character portrayals on Coupang Play's "SNL Korea." She has since bridged the gap between actress and entertainer through various programs, including "Running Man" and "Office Workers."
