'I Am Solo' Season 31 Women Draw 'Backbiting' Controversy as Yeong-sik and Yeong-su Reunite Warmly
After the end of 'I Am Solo' Season 31, Yeong-sik and Yeong-su showed their continuing friendship while a controversy over remarks about Sun-ja continues.
Yeong-sik and Yeong-su, cast members from Season 31 of the SBS Plus and ENA dating reality program 'I Am Solo,' have shown that their friendship has continued unchanged even after the broadcast.

On June 8, Yeong-sik posted a photo on his Instagram account with Yeong-su. In the image, the two are seated together at a restaurant table and appear to be in good spirits. The post suggested that they had built a friendship after meeting through 'I Am Solo.' Yeong-su also uploaded the same photo to his own Instagram account, further showing their close relationship.
Before that, Yeong-sik had also shared an update showing that he enjoyed a hike on Cheonggyesan with Yeong-cheol.
The atmosphere around Season 31 has recently been noisy because of a 'backbiting' controversy involving the female cast members. Broadcast footage showed Ok-soon, Yeong-sook, and Jeong-hui making remarks about Sun-ja, drawing criticism toward the three contestants. The program also aired scenes showing Sun-ja struggling emotionally.
Season 31 of 'I Am Solo' ended on May 27. Some viewers argued that the three roommates had spoken ill of Sun-ja. The trio later expressed their apologies during a live broadcast held the day after the finale by Chonjang Entertainment, the production company behind 'I Am Solo.'
By contrast, Yeong-sik and Yeong-cheol are drawing attention by showing an entirely different kind of friendship.
