Jang Young-ran turns period mishap into laughter: 'Menopause hasn't hit me yet'
Broadcaster Jang Young-ran shows her unfiltered charm after an unexpected period mishap during a YouTube shoot with her main PD.
Broadcaster Jang Young-ran experienced an unexpected period mishap during a YouTube shoot, but she turned the situation into a moment of laughter with her signature honest and cheerful charm.

Rather than being self-conscious about her age, Jang's natural acceptance of her bodily changes has resonated with many, offering a sense of empathy and relatability.
On the 29th, the YouTube channel 'A-Class Jang Young-ran' released a video titled 'Why is Jang Young-ran's main PD preparing for marriage in a 6-pyeong rooftop room? (Engaged couple, Seoul housing prices)'.
During the shoot, Jang visited the studio PD's studio apartment to offer advice on preparing for marriage and household management.
Jang explained the reason for her visit, saying, "The PD is getting married soon. Due to the nature of the job, having irregular hours made blind dates difficult, but she met and is marrying a PD from another company. Since she's getting married, I want to act as an older sister and provide some 'bride training' and household tips so she can live well.""
While exploring the apartment, Jang lay on the bed with the PD to test out a beam projector installed on the ceiling. While filming continued in a relaxed atmosphere, something unexpected occurred.
As she stood up to reinstall a fallen curtain rod, the PD cautiously informed her, "There is period blood on your pants, are you okay?"
Though momentarily flustered by the sudden situation, Jang quickly handled it in her characteristic style.
Taking the sanitary pad handed to her by the PD, she joked, "I'm sorry. I'm a woman whose menopause hasn't arrived yet. I'm still doing it," before heading to the bathroom.
Rather than hiding or avoiding a potentially embarrassing moment, Jang's honest joke quickly brightened the atmosphere on set.
Jang has long communicated with the public by sharing her daily life and emotions without a filter through broadcasts and SNS. Once again, she has been praised for her "unfiltered charm," humorously addressing natural bodily changes that any woman can experience.
The video also follows the PD's transition from her 6-pyeong studio—which had a 5,000 deposit and 35 monthly rent—as she prepares for married life with her fiancé, who also works in the industry.
Viewers are responding positively to Jang's realistic advice to her junior and her infectious positive energy that transforms even the most unexpected moments into laughter.
