Jeon Hyeonmu cites responsibility for hosting 9 programs

“Including the new one, it's nine.”

Jeon Hyeonmu surprised viewers by revealing the number of programs he is currently hosting. Despite working without rest even during the holidays, he stated that he has no intention of easily stepping down from his shows.

On the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) show 'Home Alone' aired on the 25th, Jeon confessed that he has "work scheduled for all" even during the Chuseok holiday. When asked how many programs he is currently appearing in, he replied, "9," including the new program he is joining.

When asked if he wouldn't want to rest if things get difficult, he gave an unexpected answer. While admitting that he will continue, Jeon stated, "I think it would be irresponsible to let go of programs I have been doing continuously." It was not simply because he had a lot of work, but a conviction that he would not easily leave the positions he has taken.

Jeon also shared his experiences with malicious comments. When Kim Dae Ho mentioned that he had been dazed for a while after receiving out-of-context abusive messages via SNS recently, Jeon comforted his junior by saying, "I have hundreds of malicious comments."

Having received malicious comments for over 10 years, Jeon said, "In the past, I was hurt by out-of-context malicious comments, but as you gain experience, the ones with context hurt even more," adding, "Isn't it something you just have to accept?" He looked back on his years as a broadcaster, revealing that even during his time as an announcer, he faced criticism for "being too proactive."

With nine programs and filming continuing even through the holidays, the reason Jeon does not easily stop is surprisingly simple. Rather than thinking it is difficult, he places a greater sense of responsibility on the programs he is in charge of.
