Jeong Ga Eun Reveals Hospitalization with Nasal Tube: 'There Was a Hole in My Lung'

Actress Jeong Ga Eun revealed that she was recently hospitalized for a lung condition.

On the 6th, Jeong Ga Eun promoted her upcoming play on her personal account, saying, "I've been a bit quiet lately, haven't I? Actually, I was busy immersing myself in practice, and in the middle of that, I got sick and even had to be hospitalized. Even while undergoing treatment, I looked at scripts whenever I could to prepare for the play 'Dangerous People.' I am finally stepping onto the stage today. I will greet you with all my sincerity on stage."

Regarding the reason for her hospitalization, she shared, "There was a hole in my lung. Not today, though! I was discharged safely. Now I am healthy and heading off to do my play!" expressing relief that she has fully recovered.

She also shared a photo from her time in the hospital, showing her lying in a hospital bed with a nasal tube inserted; she looked quite gaunt. In contrast, the photos shared after her discharge showed her having regained a bright smile.

Jeong Ga Eun has been raising her daughter alone since her divorce in 2018. She also previously shared footage of herself driving a taxi after obtaining a taxi driver's license.
