Kim Dong-hyun Reveals Sex of Fourth Child: "Another Son," Balancing Two Sons and Two Daughters

Broadcaster Kim Dong-hyun, a former mixed martial arts fighter, revealed that his fourth child is a son.

On the 22nd, a video titled "Finally Revealing It! Is Kim Dong-hyun’s Fourth Child a Son? A Daughter?" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Donghyuninet."

He spent his morning routine with his three children. When he asked them, "How many siblings do you have?" they answered, "Three" and "Four."

Kim Dong-hyun said, "Our youngest sibling, the fourth child, is in Mom’s belly." When he asked the children, "Is the youngest sibling a younger brother or a younger sister?" the children gave mixed responses, saying "a boy" and "a daughter." Kim Dong-hyun then announced, "Our fourth son has come to us."

He said, "I have always liked children, so I wanted to have a lot of them. We thought, 'Should we try one last time?' but it did not work out well, so just when we were about to give up, the fourth child came along. My wife kept saying, 'One more child.' She said it would be nice to have one more son like an athlete." He shared that he was very grateful the fourth child is a son.

Kim Dong-hyun also opened up about the real challenges of parenting, saying, "Our first and second children were so gentle that we ended up having a third. But the third is a little tough." Still, he brought laughter by adding, "Even so, our fourth son has come to us."

His wife also expressed gratitude for Kim Dong-hyun’s involvement in childcare, saying, "Dad makes a real impact by letting me get a full day of proper rest," and added, "I liked that he often spends time with the children."

Kim Dong-hyun married in 2018 and has one son and two daughters. His fourth child is due this October.
