Kim Ga-yeon reveals future son-in-law's unique age gap with Lim Yo-hwan

Actress Kim Ga-yeon and poker player Lim Yo-hwan have revealed the existence of a future son-in-law. The news has drawn attention due to the unique age dynamics within the family, as the future son-in-law is reportedly 10 years older than Kim's eldest daughter and only 6 years older than Lim.

On the 21st, a video titled "Not a normal family. A couple crazy for dopamine" was released on Kim Ga-yeon's YouTube channel. Hong Jin-Ho, Faker, and the future son-in-law appeared alongside Kim and Lim to share various stories regarding the family.

During an interview conducted after a family photo shoot, when the production team asked, "We heard there is one more family member," Kim revealed, "There is a future son-in-law."

The future son-in-law is 10 years older than Kim's eldest daughter and has a 6-year age difference with Lim. When combined with the age gap between Kim and Lim, the traditional family titles and actual age relationships have become quite complex.

Lim explained, "Isn't there an age difference between Ga-yeon and me? The age gaps in our family are all over the place. My daughter is dating someone significantly older."

He continued, drawing laughter, "As a joke, I said if the two of them work out, I would become a 'father-in-law hyung,' and that is becoming a reality."

The actual family atmosphere is reported to be even more informal. Lim said, "When the future son-in-law comes over to the house, we drink together. He calls us Mom and Dad. The family tree says so, but it feels more like a brother-to-brother relationship."

Kim also expressed her fondness for the future son-in-law, specifically mentioning his cooking skills. While they will legally be father-in-law and son-in-law, they are forming a comfortable relationship that feels more like peers in their daily lives.

Kim married Lim, who is 8 years younger, in 2011, and they have two daughters. With such diverse age gaps among family members, the addition of a future son-in-law creates an even more interesting dynamic between traditional titles and actual age relationships.
